Symphony of Sounds-Vibrations-Colors Meditation Series ©
A Three-Stage Multi-Sensory Meditation Program for Children Ages 5-11, developed for Pediatric Healthcare and Supportive-Care Settings

Symphony of Sounds-Vibrations-Colors Meditation Series © is a developing program, designed as a series of 12 multi-sensory meditation experiences, each built around a different story, character, emotional theme, and set of sensory possibilities. Each meditation follows the same three-stage developmental progression:

Stage 1, the Seeing Journey, gives the child the story. The child enters an audiovisual story through characters, narration, music, environmental sounds, color, movement, gentle breathing invitations, and other sensory elements. The child is invited to participate rather than simply watch.
Stage 2, the Inner Journey, creates the experience of remembering, imagining & feeling. The familiar story becomes quieter and more spacious. Selected sounds, characters, images, and story moments provide starting points for the child's own memory and imagination. The narrator says less, allowing greater room to notice, breathe, remember, imagine, listen, and simply be.
Stage 3, Reflection and Integration, helps the child make the story their own. A facilitator offers brief, open-ended opportunities for the child to respond through words, color, drawing, pointing, sound, movement, or quiet reflection. There are no right or wrong answers, and the child may choose not to respond.
Together, the stages create a progression from: EXPERIENCE → INTERNALIZE → INTEGRATE

Difficult feelings are not presented as problems that must disappear. Instead, stories may create opportunities for children to notice feelings while also encountering supportive qualities such as courage, creativity, confidence, kindness, calm, inner listening, imagination, and wisdom.

Short Term, Mid-Term, Long-Term GOALS
Short-term Goal:
To find the right healthcare partner for an initial formal pilot in
pediatric inpatient and outpatient environments, Child Life programs, pediatric infusion and treatment settings, integrative health and integrative medicine programs, pediatric rehabilitation and supportive-care services, and nonprofit or community programs serving children and families.
Program is based on Evidence- Informed Principles.
The first meditation, Colors of the Rainbow, has been developed as the program exemplar.
A Formal Pilot would provide an opportunity to evaluate the program’s feasibility,
participant experience, implementation, and perceived value within a real-world clinical setting.
Please contact us if you are interested in an Initial Formal Pilot.
Mid-term Goal:
To find funding.
Please contact us if you are interested in funding the full development of
the Symphony of Sounds-Vibration-Colors Meditation Series ©
Long-term Vision:
To establish a facilitator training and licensing model
that enables qualified healthcare professionals to deliver the program
while maintaining fidelity to its educational framework and guiding principles.
