Embodied Resilience Program for Cancer Care © is an evidence-informed, trauma-sensitive, six-session supportive-care program (90-min weekly sessions) designed to complement existing whole-person cancer care by strengthening resilience, emotional well-being, self-awareness, and quality of life through structured embodiment-based learning and reflective practice.
Through guided embodied practices, reflection, discussion, and experiential learning, participants develop practical capacities that support well-being throughout treatment, recovery, survivorship, and ongoing care.
Six Core Capacities
The program invites participants to explore six core capacities of embodied resilience
that foster greater connection with internal and external resources:

These capacities correspond to a progressive journey of Support, Steadiness, Mental Space, Emotional Presence, Wholeness, and Integration, helping participants develop practical resources for navigating uncertainty, emotional challenges, and the physical demands of illness. At the end, they lead to a journey of gradually rediscovering one deeper human capacity: the capacity to remain connected with oneself, even in the presence of uncertainty.

• Strengthens resilience
• Supports emotional well-being
• Encourages self-awareness
• Promotes nervous system regulation
• Complements supportive-care services
• Enhances quality of life
The program is designed to complement existing oncology, supportive-care, survivorship, and integrative medicine services by providing participants with practical tools that support resilience, self-awareness, emotional well-being, and quality of life throughout the cancer experience and beyond.
